Privacy Policy & Terms of Service

Upon registering I confirm that I have read through BMTS’ privacy policy, academic regulations, and the following terms of service:

  • Registration for continuing education is considered finalized upon receipt of payment of participation fee;
  • The participation fee will be refunded if the participant chooses to back out of the continuing education program (including open courses and micro-credentials) up to 24 hours before it begins;
  • If the participant chooses to back out of the registration less than 24 hours before the program begins, 50% of the participation fee will be refunded or an agreement will be made regarding participation in a future continuing education program;
  • If the participant wishes to cancel their registration, they must notify the Continuing Education Coordinator in writing;
  • If the continuing education program is cancelled or if participation is rendered impossible due to the participant limit being reached, the participation fee will be refunded in full or an agreement will be made regarding participation in a future continuing education program;
  • If the participant has not notified the Continuing Education Coordinator of their wish to cancel their registration and they have not attended the continuing education program, the participation fee will not be refunded.
 

Terms and Conditions

The owner of the EMKTS Koolitused (also: BMTS Continuing Education) Online Store is the Estonian Methodist Church NGO (registration code 80196661), located at Narva mnt 51, 10120, Kesklinn, Tallinn, Harju County.

 

 

Validity of the Sales Agreement, Product and Price Information

These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of services from the Online Store.

The prices of services sold in the Online Store are listed next to the services. All prices of goods sold in the Online Store are in euros.

Information about the services is provided in the Online Store directly next to the product.

After the order is placed, an order confirmation will be sent to the customer (also: participant) via email. No later than 1 day before the start of the continuing education course (also: service), the customer will receive a reminder regarding the start of the course, along with information on how to access the course (including the address, a Zoom link to join via video conference, and, if necessary, a temporary BMTS Moodle account username and password).

 

 

Placing an Order

To order, add the desired services to your shopping cart. To complete the order, fill in the required fields. The total amount will then be displayed on the screen, which can be paid securely via the following payment methods:

  • Estonian bank transfers
  • Finnish bank transfers
  • Latvian bank transfers
  • Lithuanian bank transfers
  • Visa/Mastercard payments
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay

NB! When paying via a bank link, be sure to click the “Back to merchant” button on the bank’s page.

Payments are processed by Maksekeskus Inc. Payments are made outside the Online Store in a secure environment—via a secure environment provided by the respective bank when paying via bank link, and via a secure environment provided by Maksekeskus Inc. when paying by credit card. The seller does not have access to the customer’s bank or credit card details.

The service provider is the data controller and transfers the personal data necessary for processing payments to the authorized processor, Maksekeskus Inc.
