Dr. Ybarrola offers an introduction into Cultural Anthropology, which can be used in evangelization and mission work.

The critical use of Anthropology along with Theology leads us to our primary goal of Missiology, a.k.a. the Theology of Missions. The aim of the course is to help us realize that to do mission work effectively, we must be able to interpret, in addition to Scripture, the social-cultural context in which we live and minister.

Teacher

Steven Ybarrola, ThD

Dr. Ybarrola was a long-time professor of Cultural Anthropology at Asbury Theological Seminary and the dean of the E. Stanley Jones School of Mission and Ministry. He has been teaching at BMTS since 2010.
